Encourage. Support. Advocate.
A sustainable industry that supports the development of clean energy derived from natural gas including liquefied natural gas (LNG), blue hydrogen and decarbonized ammonia, for domestic and international use.
Economic development
& tribal sovereignty
Western States and Tribal Nations’ vision is to encourage, support and advocate for a robust and sustainable North American natural gas industry that exports gas produced under stringent environmental standards. This bipartisan, trans-national initiative is focused on creating rural economic development, advancing tribal self-determination, and reducing global emissions by exporting natural gas from western North America to Asian markets that are expected to drive 70% of global LNG demand.
WSTN is committed to collaborating through education, research and innovation to promote all paths evolving toward a cleaner, more sustainable energy future.
WSTN believes that transparency in engagement and action, fact-based dialogue based upon science and the application of global geopolitical and environmental perspectives to our issues together create the greatest opportunities to realize our goals.
