Takeshi Soda, Director of the Oil and Natural Gas Division for Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, will also address the audience, and present his views on the future of U.S.-Japan LNG trade. The forum is bringing together a number of industry players to examine the potential to get Rockies natural gas exported from the West Coast of North America, and a new potential route from Mexico will be discussed in depth by a team of leaders from Sempra Infrastructure Partners.
Rounding out the public session, a panel of sovereign tribal leaders will discuss their perspectives on tribal energy development, which is certain to be an important debate, especially given the current federal approach toward sovereign tribal nations.
